Canon XXIX
Si quis episcopus per pecunias huius dignitatis compos fuerit aut presbyter aut diaconus, deponatur et ipse et qui eum ordinavit, atque penitus abscindatur a communione, sicut Simon magus a me Petro.
Canon XXIX
If any bishop shall have obtained this dignity through money, or a presbyter or deacon [likewise], let him and the one who ordained him be deposed, and let him be altogether cut off from communion, as Simon Magus was by me, Peter.
